Sleeping Beauty, Wake Up! Retelling of this classic fairy tale with masterful live music
“What! 14 days! It might as well be 100 years!” shouts Rosi when she learns she must go into quarantine. With no choice in the matter, she makes the best of it and dreams herself into the world of Sleeping Beauty: The well-known fairy tale about the evil thirteenth fairy, the 100-year curse, and the prince who wakes everyone and everything up in the end…
A story full of imagination that explores all manner of small fears, orchestrated by three musicians who also act as narrators. Offering cheeky commentary and the Chorus of Destiny, the musicians skillfully accompany the shadow theater version of this Brothers Grimm fairy tale made for children and adults. Sleeping Beauty – as poetic and relevant as never before.
