Alice in Wonderland
Everyone knows the story of Alice, who follows the white rabbit and plunges into a world full of fantasy, magic, and beauty. Alice in Wonderland is on almost every list of must-read books, and there are countless film adaptations, video games, manga, and even an opera. But something that was still missing: a version from the trusted pen of Holger Schober-Dufek, who has already brought classics such as Pinocchio, The Odyssey, or Robinson Crusoe to the stage. And together with the actress Veronika Zellner, a completely unique version of the story came into being. It all turned into a fast-paced, sometimes absurd and, above all, endlessly imaginative story rendered as an exhilarating one-woman show: the actress embodies not only Alice but, using a wide variety of everyday objects, all the other characters too. A hymn to fantasy, which, especially in these difficult times, is the greatest good and the most important competence we can pass on to our children.
