The Golden Goose
Oh, the golden goose, how it shines and how precious it is – it attracts all but soon everyone is stuck fast to it. Only the youngest of the three brothers, whom everyone thinks is a simpleton, would rather like to take it to show the princess, for he adores the princess and wants to make her laugh. And indeed, he would just go and marry her, but the king is against it. So a good giantess must come to the rescue. Greed just doesn’t pay off, sadness is a bad advisor, and even a supposed simpleton can one day become king.
