BLUE
An entertaining hide-and-seek and waiting game

We are blue and waiting. Waiting. And waiting… We are bored, the summer heat is making us tired. We long for the brightest shade of blue, the blue of the ocean. But we only find it on postcards. If we can’t plunge right into the cards, then we’ll just have to create our own little indigo-cobalt-electric-blue waterworld right here on the spot.

BLUE is a clownesque quest for the meaning of life and a homage to inflatable toys and blueberry ice cream for the entire family.

In German, Blaumachen (“going blue”) is an expression derived from the profession of dyers. A big part of their work consisted of waiting. Waiting until the color pigments had dyed the woven fabric blue. The dyers were said to be idle and lazy people as the waiting and blue-dyeing were not considered work. Last year, the situation was similar. Waiting took on a new meaning.
