Little Red Riding Hood
A cheeky interpretation of the notorious fairy tale

Included in the collections of both Charles Perrault as well as the Brothers Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, this fairy tale is one that is open too many, many interpretations. In this version the “old, poor wolf” takes center stage in the story. Emphasis is placed on “poor” because he – unfortunately toothless – is in search of soft food. Due to the high bounty on his head, once the hunter rescues the grandmother and Little Red Riding Hood, he doesn’t kill the wolf, but lets him earn his keep as the hunter’s watchdog.
