Imagination A kaleidoscope of familiar images and specially composed music by Karlheinz Essl grace the Paper Theater
The Biedermeier-style Paper Theater steps into the twenty-first century. Pictures by famous artists, such as a snare picture based on Spoerri, Man in a Bowler Hat inspired by Magritte, Nana by Niki de Saint Phalle, a Composition with Red, Blue and Yellow by Mondrian, or Black Hat by A. Katz are re-imagined and transformed until they vanish once again. All of this happens in an environment known from black light theatre. Puppets and objects in glowing colors slide and float through the darkened space. The audience has a unique opportunity to look at things from a different angle. But what would all these moving images be without the music of Prof. Karlheinz Essl, who composed it especially for this piece? Only the finely tuned interplay of colors, movements, and music achieves the desired Imagination.
For everyone with a passion for contemporary art or who is ready to be seduced by it.
