Where the Wild Things Are A visit with the real Wild Things
On the evening that Max dressed up in his wolf costume and had nothing but shenanigans on his mind, his mother scolded him as a “wild thing” and sent him to bed without supper. That night a jungle grew in his room – and grew, and grew. And suddenly a ship appeared, and Max sailed away, for almost a year, to the place where the Wild Things are.
With his magic trick, Max tamed the Wild Things and was hailed as their king. Together, then they were really wild. Until Max wanted to return to the place where someone loves him more than anything. All of a sudden, it smelled like great food, and Max sailed back, once again, to his room…
