It’s God’s birthday. Two angels are in search of the perfect staging of the creation story, which they want to perform in his honor. They create scenes, images, and creatures (Adam, Lilith, and Eve). In the heat of the moment they destroy each other‘s creations, and yet, inspired by their shared creative desire, they keep bringing about one idea after another. What happens when you taste from the divine light? What dangers do its creative powers hold? Is he going to like it or should they better come up with something simpler? Like a birthday cake?
Creativity moves between creation and destruction, order and chaos. “One must still have chaos in oneself to be able to give birth to a dancing star.” Nietzsche. – An award-winning production directed by Gyula Molnàr.
